*  25th Annual Convocation function of the college was held on 27th March’2010. Shri. Ram Niwas (I.A.S), Home Cum Education Secretary, Chandigarh Administration delivered the Convocation address .

  *  28th Annual Prize Giving Function of the college was held on 9th March 2010. It was presided over by Shri Pardip Mehra, Advisor to the Administrator, Chandigarh Administration.

  *  A Mega Job Fest was organized by Placement Cell on 24th February 2010 in the College Auditorium. Around 28 Companies participated in the event. Approximately 1583 students got themselves registered for the fest and out of this 1155 students got short listed by various companies.

  *  28th Annual Athletic Meet was organized by Department of Physical Education on 19th February, 2010. Dr. J. S. Raghu, Principal, inaugurated the function. The college students participated in events like races, throws, jumps and gymkhana events. Recreational activities were organized for teaching, non-teaching staff and class IV employees also. Shri Ajoy Sharma, IAS, Special Secretary Finance-cum-Director Higher Education, Chandigarh Administration, Chandigarh, gave away the prizes to the winners.

  *  Inter College IT Fest “TECHRITI’10” was organized by Department of Computer Applications of the college on 16th February 2010 in which 19 colleges from Chandigarh and surrounding areas participated in ten different events like Debugging, Software Development, PowerPoint Presentation, I.T. Quiz, Face Painting, Skit, Group Dance etc.

  *  The college participated in the P.U. Chandigarh Zonal Youth & Heritage festival from 27th Oct. to 30th Oct. 2009 at S.D College, Sector 32, Chandigarh. The college team won 8 First Prizes, 10 Second Prizes, and 5 Third Prizes in different cultural events. Our spirited performers also participated in the Inter - Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival held at Dev Samaj College for Women, Ferozepur from 5 – 8th November 2009 and won Third prize in Group Shabad. Our college participated in the Sixth State Festival organized by the Department of Sports, Chandigarh from 1st - 3rd December and secured 3 First, 1 Second and 1 Third position. Our troop of Luddi, Giddha dancers and folk singers also represented Chandigarh in the 15th National Youth Festival held at Bhuvaneshwar from 8 -12th January 2010. Our college Bhangra Team won the Second prize at the Rose Festival organized by Chandigarh Administration on 26th February 2010.

  *  Talk on Demystifying Entrepreneurship was organized by Department of Economics on 11th February 2010. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Sarthak Kumar, Founder Director, Vibe Tech. Solutions.
