| Over the years, it has added new courses and streams to the list of courses that it began with. After an initial phase of formation and settlement spanning over about fifteen years it leapt ahead with noticeable achvement. The vocational courses – Advertising and sales promotion was added in the year 1997 followed by BBA in 1998, BCA and M.Com in 1999 and 2000 respectively, adding new dimension to the college profile
The goal of the college and the philosophy behind its foundation is suitably displayed in the college logo, which bears the following words of wisdom “LIGHT IS LIFE”. Mission is to enlighten the lives of young generation by imparting quality education which promises to be a confluence of tradition and modernity. That is, while it emphases character building of student as the corner store of nation-building exercise it does not gloss over the fact that professional career excellence is what ultimately going to matter in this era of globalization. As a result thrust is always placed on inter-disciplinarily of discourses and students are kept abreast of newer ideas, concepts and debates emerging within a particular area of study. |
