| During the session 2008-09,all of the above companies visited the college campus for recruiting students. The package salary provided by these companies is between Rs. 1.5 lac p.a to Rs. 2.20 lac p.a. In this session about 51 students are selected by these companies and provide them a bright future. The Training and Placement Cell was set up in 1995 with a view to provide necessary impetus to launch our students into the real world where cut-throat competition is the order of the day. The Training and Placement Cell plays a vital role in finding suitable job opportunities for students and tying up with industries and professional organizations for fruitful and mutually beneficial linkages.
The Cell works round the year effectively and efficiently to liaison with major organizations. Facilitate training, arranging for live projects and providing placement assistance to its students. It also ensures an active interaction with the industry by organizing guest lectures and seminars Invites international trainers in behavioral skills to enhance the soft skills of the Students Arranges for personality development sessions, career development Programmes Interview technique programme to facilitate students to perform better in the campus recruitment programme The Cell has organized various technical, non-technical Programmes for the staff in order to develop the necessary skills, based on the suggestions from head of the Departments.
In addition to the prestigious recruitment activity, the Cell organizes numerous seminars, workshops,presentations,soft skill classes ---- all meant for the welfare of the students of the college. Such activities are conducted on various topics like Insurance, Entrepreneurship, Computer Programming in Accounting and Finance, Personality Development and Banking etcl The Teachers In charge of the Cell wish their students a very happy and bright future.

| Wipro launched WIPRO BPO Academic Excellence Award 2009 which was awarded to Ms.Kriti Duggal BCA III for her academic excellence and overall performance. The Award was given away to her by Mr. Gurpreet Singh, Manager-Talent Acquisition and Employee Branding, Delhi at the Annual Prize Distribution Function of the college held in March,2009 |
